T.

Today.
There was rain, a lot of rain.

Warnings of floods.

Makes me think back on the last flood in StG, sandbagging, and saving my community. :)
Favorite part of that was working with Brother Monson, (a 90+ man on our street who worked harder then anyone) made the comment "don't anyone get any crazy ideas of pulling me down and baptizing me in this". Bro Monson comes to church EVERY WEEK, he loves the church. i'm amazed he has never been baptized, but nonetheless probably the person i miss most in bloomington based purely on his unique ability to draw me in with curiosity. he has a twinkle in his eye that i can't quite put my finger on. . .

as alice in wonderland would say::
curiouser and curiouser.

Natural disasters are incredible. they make me rethink life. Am i living in the moments? Am i embracing the little things? Am i realizing all this beauty that so freely surrounds me? Do i have this twinkle in my eye? Or the heart of this child?

be curious. explore. acknowledge the knots in your laces. rethink the way that comes naturally. dare to be the unique person you are, not a carbon copy of someone else. let the child inside you WIN.

I am fully aware that i am still extremely inexperienced with all this we call life. but, for now that is the best advice i can muster.

P.S.
finally got to see Tron tonight. Call me a noob. but i whole-heartedly LOVED it.
